Project: A Questionnaire survey on the occupational safety and health of Construction workers attending the green card course (Hong Kong)

A comprehensive questionnaire survey aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Construction Workers Green Card Course has been jointly conducted by the Occupational Safety and Health Council and the Construction Industry Training Authority, supported by the Hong Kong Construction Industy Employees General Union. Another objective of the survey is to gather information on the background of the course participants and their attitude towards safety and the use of protective equipment.
The project was commenced in June 1997. The subjects of the survey were all the students who attended the Green Card Courses. A total of 92, 933 participants were surveyed between June 1997 and October 1999. The data collected were analyzed with the statistical package SPSS. Researchers have examined the validity of the results. Special emphasis has been put on analysisng the sampling error, potentional bias of the answeres and missing data.....
